Summer has been quite hectic with meeting new clients, establishing new connections, and progressing in my Canine Herbalism course. I recently participated as a vendor at the Carolina Foothills Cluster Dog Show, which proved to be a memorable experience.
It's surprising that I had never attended a dog show until this past weekend. I've been to agility, dock diving, herding, and rodeos, but never a proper dog show. It was definitely an unforgettable experience.
While I admire the beauty and talent of all the dogs in the show, the venue was not a suitable for me or my skills. Many of these dogs are groomed constantly for the ring, so who would want someone to lay hands on them. Others are just so focused on their jobs and that's right where the handlers want them. Any many people don't know about or understand reiki.
But I did it and it was a great experience. On to my next adventure.
